Veterans, including those from Bucha district, can receive up to 20,000 hryvnias in compensation to develop their own business. The Ukrainian Veterans Fund of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs reimburses spending on items and goods for the business.
This was reported by the Bucha District State Administration, citing the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. The compensation is part of a microfinance programme.
Applications are open to veterans with veteran entrepreneur status who are self-employed: sole traders in the first, second or third single tax group, or people engaged in independent professional activity.
The maximum compensation is 20,000 hryvnias. Only expenses already incurred are reimbursed; money for planned purchases is not paid out. Detailed instructions and the application form are on the fund’s website.
As a reminder, an extract from the veterans register will appear in Diia by the end of October.
