Veterans from all over Ukraine, including Bucha district, will be able to get an extract from the Unified State Register of War Veterans in the Diia app. The service is due to launch by the end of October.

This was announced by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. The decisions planned for the end of 2026 were outlined by the Minister of Veterans Affairs, Vitalii Kim.

Besides the extract in Diia, the ministry plans to let regional military administrations and the Defence Forces correct data in the veterans register themselves.

By the end of the year, the concept of a State Veterans Support Service and a roadmap for creating it are also due to be finalised.

The Veterans Sport programme will be reworked for 2027 so that funds are targeted and their use is monitored. At least 150 veteran entrepreneurs will also be selected for further support.
