The Bucha Consultative and Diagnostic Centre on Polova Street has almost completed its major renovation. The halls, lobbies and reception have been fully refurbished, and a new barrier-free entrance has been built.

This was announced by Bucha mayor Anatolii Fedoruk. What remains is to buy new furniture, which is awaiting an auction, and to finish some minor works.

The renovation was funded by Taiwan. Its support became known in November 2025, when more than 12 million hryvnias were set aside for the reconstruction so that patients would no longer have to wait outside for appointments.

We now have a renovated and, in my view, superb entrance that will serve both visitors and the doctors themselves. It is barrier-free.

Taiwan has been helping the community since the first days of the invasion. Together they rebuilt the children’s and youth sports school and funded an entrance area with parking for the regional mental health centre. At a critical time, Taiwan also bought generators for the community.

Fedoruk named the construction of a multi-profile hospital in Bucha as the next step. The community is also preparing another medical project with Taiwan, with details promised once there is a result.

According to the mayor, the centre’s medical staff are training and being renewed, and the facility itself is inviting new specialists to join the team.

As a reminder, Bucha presented the project of a new hospital on Polova Street to international partners.
