Editorial policy

These rules define how Bucha FM gathers, verifies and publishes information.

Sources and verification

Our news is based on official announcements from the authorities of the Bucha district communities, the police and emergency services, as well as publications by regional and national media. A fact is considered confirmed when it has been released by a primary source or by two independent outlets. A link to the source appears in every article.

Authorship

We write our own texts rather than copying other people's. Quotes are given in quotation marks with attribution. If another outlet published the story first, we link to that outlet.

Use of technology

We use software tools to monitor sources and prepare drafts. Every article undergoes editorial verification of facts, sources and photographs before publication. The newsroom is responsible for everything published.

Photographs

We publish photographs from sources' public announcements with attribution, our own images, or images under a free-use licence. We do not publish AI-generated images as illustrations of real events.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct the article and note the correction. Send correction requests via the Contacts page.

Advertising

Advertising materials are labelled "Advertising". Advertisers have no influence on news content.
