Residents of Bucha can mark a neglected spot on a map, suggest a small project for it or back someone else’s idea. The three winning ideas will be carried out together with volunteers and specialists.

This is stated on the Bucha Green Recovery platform, which describes the project as a community initiative.

To submit an idea, mark the spot on the map and describe the plan. The organisers check each proposal, after which it appears on the map and other residents can vote for it.

Ideas and voting are open until 26 October, with a hackathon planned for 24 October. The three projects with the most votes that pass the selection are due to be carried out in November.

As a reminder, in Makariv parents found the idea and a grant for a new playground in Molodizhnyi Park themselves.
