Backup power for mobile operators’ base stations in the Bucha community was discussed at a meeting at the city council, chaired by deputy mayor Dmytro Cheichuk.

This was reported by Bucha City Council. Services were assigned responsibilities in case of long blackouts.

Representatives of the relevant council bodies agreed on the sequence of actions and how they will work together if the power is out for a long time.

Since last year the community has had an agreed plan under which mobile towers are powered by generators. This way, during long outages residents will be able to contact their families and get the help they need.

As a reminder, planned power outages are taking place in the Bucha community on 14 and 15 October.
