Maternity benefit and childcare benefit for children under one can now be claimed online in the Diia app. The service is also available to residents of the Bucha area.

This was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers, citing Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi.

Maternity benefit for women who are not covered by compulsory state social insurance is 7,000 UAH a month.

Childcare benefit for children under one is also 7,000 UAH a month. For families raising a child with a disability it is 10,500 UAH a month.

The application is filed online in Diia. It is passed to the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere, which automatically collects the necessary data from state registers. The system drafts a decision, and a Pension Fund officer checks and approves it.

People without a smartphone can apply at Pension Fund service centres, administrative service centres or through authorised officials in their communities.

As a reminder, parents of newborns can get 10 services with a single application through eMaliatko.
