Solar power stations will be installed in the modular towns in Bucha and Vorzel, home to 452 internally displaced people. The community has received almost a thousand solar panels for them from the Ukrainian Red Cross.

This was reported by Bucha mayor Anatolii Fedoruk.

The stations, with a total capacity of almost 600 kW, will be built at four sites. Together with the panels, 37 hybrid inverters and 185 batteries will be installed.

The total battery capacity will be almost 1 MWh. The batteries will store energy that can be used during power cuts. According to the mayor, the stations will also significantly cut the community’s electricity costs.

The contractor is due to start work in the coming days.

As a reminder, in September Bucha launched a solar plant with storage for the borehole in the Sklozavod district.
