Notaries will receive archived information on property rights in the Bucha community directly and electronically. To make this possible, the municipal enterprise Buchanskyi Servis – Tsentr Dokument has joined a memorandum on digitising archive data signed at the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

It covers property rights registered before 1 January 2013, as well as up-to-date technical details of properties. Residents will no longer have to collect paper certificates in person and carry documents between offices.

The city council says the switch to digital will shorten the time needed to complete deals and rule out forged documents. Specialists are now working out the technical procedures for launching electronic document exchange, and no launch date has been given.

Much of the property data created before 2013 is still kept only in paper archives of the technical inventory bureaus. Because of this, people wait longer for services and pay for certificates every time, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, explained in March.

As a reminder, on 13 October some services were temporarily unavailable at administrative service centres in the Bucha community because of a Diia portal outage.
