The Kyiv region hortyng championship took place at the Sports Academy in Bucha. A total of 220 athletes of different ages took part.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

Participants competed in three disciplines: wrestling, fencing and police self-defence. At the opening ceremony the best athletes received certificates as candidates for master of sport and masters of sport of Ukraine in hortyng.

In the team event among Kyiv region clubs, SK Voin won, VPK Ratoborets came second and SK Kharakternyk third. The best coaches of the region and the capital were also honoured.
