Restoration of three residential buildings in Irpin has been at a standstill for some time. Work slowed down because of problems with contractors and a lack of technical solutions for the rebuilding.
This was reported by First Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Pashchynskyi.
On 29 October the buildings were inspected by representatives of the Kyiv Region Restoration and Infrastructure Development Service, the city authorities, the municipal housing company UZhKH Irpin and designers. The Restoration Service is the client for the work on all three sites.
What was decided for each building
At 61 Zarify Aliievoi Street, design documents will be drawn up to restore the eighth, ninth and technical floors. They will take into account the technical condition of the building and the findings of the inspection.
At 2 Hromadianska Street, the client has already announced a tender to continue the work twice, but no contractor took part. Current market prices for construction work will now be analysed and the tender will be announced for a third time.
At 131 Severynivska Street, the contract with the current contractor is to be terminated. The contractor must first fix all the defects found, after which a new tender will be held for the remaining work. According to Pashchynskyi, only a small amount of work is left there.
Meanwhile, inspections of homes damaged by the missile strike on 19 October are continuing in Irpin, and residents are applying for compensation through eVidnovlennia.
As a reminder, in early October Irpin received equipment worth 5.7 million euros from NEFCO to clear destroyed buildings.
