The heating season in the Borshchahivka community will begin on 1 November. It covers all settlements of the community, including Sofiivska and Petropavlivska Borshchahivka and Chaiky.

This is stated in an order by acting village head Oleksandr Medvid.

The document was signed on 28 October. Heat will be supplied once the average daily outdoor temperature stays at +8 °C or below for three days in a row.

Consumers will be connected to heating only if they have certificates of readiness for the heating season. This applies to all buildings that receive heat from the community’s suppliers.

Heads of heat supply companies, regardless of ownership, have been instructed to supply heat on time, keep dispatch and emergency services running without interruption and pay for gas and electricity on time.

As a reminder, in the neighbouring Bucha community heat was supplied to schools and kindergartens as early as 21 October.
