A local fire broke out in Sofiivska Borshchahivka on the morning of 9 October: during an air raid alert, debris of an enemy drone fell on the village.

This was reported by the Borshchahivka village council.

At 08:50 an air raid alert over the threat of attack drones was declared in Bucha district, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported.

The council urged residents to stay in safe places, not to ignore air raid alerts and not to approach debris or the places where it fell.

Meanwhile, work to deal with the aftermath of the previous evening’s attack continues in the village, and residents are being helped to record the damage. What is known about the day of attacks in the district is in our summary.

As a reminder, the evening before, a private house burned down in Sofiivska Borshchahivka after an attack, and windows were blown out in two apartment blocks.
