Over the past day, 7 people were injured in Bucha district as a result of enemy attacks. Five apartment blocks and two private houses, warehouse and non-residential premises, an educational facility and 22 cars were damaged.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

In total, the enemy attacked five districts of Kyiv region over the day: 41 sites were damaged and nine people injured. Besides Bucha district, the strikes hit Bila Tserkva, Fastiv, Obukhiv and Vyshhorod districts.

Warehouse: rescuers search for a woman

Three people were injured in the attack on warehouse premises in the district: one was taken to hospital and two were treated at the scene. Rescuers are searching for another woman who may be under the rubble and cannot be reached, the Kyiv region emergency service said. Details are in our separate report.

Sofiivska Borshchahivka: a burned house and a new fire

On the evening of 8 October a private house burned down completely in the village, windows were blown out in two apartment blocks, and cars and other private houses were damaged. According to the village council, no one was hurt.

Since the morning, municipal workers have been clearing debris at the site. Residents can file claims for damaged property, and tents offer tea, coffee, hot meals and drinking water, the Borshchahivka village council said.

And on the morning of 9 October, during an air raid alert, debris fell on the village again, causing a local fire, the council reported.

Sviatopetrivske: a kindergarten damaged

In Sviatopetrivske the attack damaged the private Umka kindergarten and about ten buildings of a residential complex, with no deaths or injuries. Since 08:00 today the service centre has been accepting compensation applications right on the kindergarten grounds, the Bilohorodka community said.

Power and water

Because of attacks on the energy system, emergency power outages are in place in the district and schedules do not apply. In the Borshchahivka community, water supply is being restored after an overnight failure.

As a reminder, a woman is still being searched for under the rubble of a warehouse in Bucha district, with no contact since the attack.
