A blood donor day was held at the VeteranPro veterans’ space in Bucha on 16 October. In three hours, from 9:00 to 12:00, more than 20 people gave 8 litres of blood.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

The blood collected will replenish the stocks needed to treat soldiers and civilians who require transfusions.

This autumn, donor days in Bucha take place roughly every two weeks. On 4–5 September, during the Blood Brothers drive, 83 people gave blood on the first day alone, and on 16 September the diagnostic centre collected 10 litres.

This time donors were received not at the diagnostic centre on Kovalskoho Street but at VeteranPro, 104-B Kyievo-Myrotska Street.

The city council advises getting a good night’s sleep, eating light food the day before and drinking enough water. Donors need to bring an identity document.

As a reminder, on 1 October, Defenders Day, more than 20 residents gave blood in Bucha.
