The Irpin community will support 8 business ideas by veterans and defenders’ wives. The commission approved applications to start and develop businesses worth a total of UAH 896,284.

This was reported by Irpin’s First Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Pashchynskyi.

This is the community’s second such contest: last year 6 projects worth UAH 900,000 were carried out. This year defenders’ wives were invited for the first time, and three of them submitted ideas. Here is who will receive support.

  • Oleksii Melnychenko: photo equipment for MYTH. AGENCY, which works in design, advertising and video
  • Denys Bondarenko: a paint area for furniture production
  • Ruslan Kyrysha: equipment for testing the quality and strength of building materials
  • Olena Hromska: a digital workplace for online teaching, so lessons continue during power cuts
  • Anastasiia Lebedieva: DAN DAN KAVA, a café with an Asian menu
  • Anna Kozhemiaka: the Nuestro Tango School dance school
  • Roman Svynarskyi: production of microgreens, wheatgrass and cold-pressed oils
  • Vitalii Zhyhadlo: ChilDecor, a workshop of original children’s decor

It is important to us that after their service veterans can realise themselves in civilian life, start businesses and create jobs, and that their families gain more opportunities for economic independence.

As a reminder, in summer four veteran businesses in Irpin received compensation for energy equipment.
