The Irpin community has allocated an additional UAH 8 million under its local Turbota programme to help residents whose homes were damaged by the missile strike on 19 October. The decision was made by the executive committee at an extraordinary meeting on 22 October.
This was reported by Irpin’s acting mayor Anzhela Makeieva.
According to her, there is currently a problem with state funding for the eRecovery programme, but people cannot wait: the cold is coming, and damaged homes need to be repaired as quickly as possible.
The community already has more than 130 eRecovery applications and 290 notices of damaged property.
Who has already received help
The same day, the executive committee approved the first 33 applications for financial aid under the Turbota programme, worth UAH 660,000 in total, first deputy mayor Oleksandr Pashchynskyi said.
Another UAH 1.5 million was allocated for materials to quickly cover damaged windows and roofs: OSB boards, film and tarpaulin. The same amount went on fuel for Irpin Central City Hospital.
Inspections of damaged housing continue. Over two days, commissions examined 85 properties, and specialists from Vyshneve came to help, deputy mayor Serhii Kaniura said.
As a reminder, on 19 October Russian missiles hit a factory and residential buildings in Irpin.
