The heating season for homes in the Irpin community begins on Monday, 2 November. Heat will be supplied to apartment blocks gradually, building by building, so that the hot water flows steadily.

Irpin’s first deputy mayor Oleksandr Pashchynskyi announced this.

Irpin’s kindergartens have had heating since 15 October, and it is now reaching schools too. The boiler houses and heating networks were prepared for winter by the municipal utility Teploenerhopostach.

When Bucha and its neighbours get heat

In the Bucha community heating for homes is provisionally planned from 1 November, depending on the weather. Schools and kindergartens there have been heated since 20 October.

The season also starts on 1 November in the Borshchahivka community. In the Boyarka community the order to start the season was signed on 29 October: homes will be heated once the average daily temperature stays at +8 °C or below for three days running.

The weather already meets that condition. By our forecast, the average daily temperature in the Bucha area will stay below +8 °C from 30 October to 1 November, and a light frost is possible on the night of 5 November.

To find out exactly when your building will get heat, ask your heat supplier: in Bucha it is Teplokomunservis, in Irpin Teploenerhopostach.

As a reminder, Bucha is installing 20 more battery modules at critical infrastructure sites before winter.
