Two new episodes of the series How to Act in Emergencies have been prepared by the State Emergency Service, Diia.Osvita and UNICEF. They explain how to get through a winter of power outages safely, so they will also be useful for residents of the Bucha district.
This was reported by the Borshchahivka village council. The episodes were released as part of the government’s Winter Support campaign.
The Safe Home episode covers preparing your home for the cold, heating appliances and protection from carbon monoxide.
The Power Outage episode explains how to organise power and lighting safely, cook and keep warm without electricity.
Emergency service experts explain the safety rules through a family game and familiar situations. Families are advised to watch together and discuss with children what to do.
All episodes are available free of charge on the Diia.Osvita platform.
As a reminder, Hostomel has received four solar stations and six generators for the winter.
