Yurii Havryliuk, a defender from Bucha, was killed at the front on 30 October while carrying out a combat mission. He was 29 and served as a drone operator.

This was reported by Bucha Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk.

Yurii joined the defence of Ukraine on the first day of the full-scale invasion and went through the hottest sections of the front. Family and friends remember him as a kind, sincere person, always ready to help.

This war had already taken two of his relatives. During the occupation of Bucha in 2022, russians killed Yurii’s father, Serhii Dukhlii, and his uncle, Roman Havryliuk. He is survived by his mother, grandmother, nephew and girlfriend.

The farewell to Yurii will take place on 5 November. At 11:00 people can say goodbye near his family home at 1-A Mykhailo Rydzanych Street, and at 12:00 the Hero will be buried on the Alley of Heroes.
