Water supply, sewerage and boiler house equipment in the Borodianka community is running in emergency mode. The cause is major voltage swings in the grid, of up to 280 volts.

The Borodiankateplopostachannia utility reported this on the settlement council’s website.

The swings are causing equipment to shut down in emergency. The utility’s staff are dealing with the failures and switching boiler houses to backup power.

Pressure in the centralised water supply may drop temporarily during the day. The utility has not said when the equipment will be stable again.

Power in the community is being cut according to schedules that the settlement council publishes daily. The schedules for 5 November are already on the council’s website.

As a reminder, the Borodianka community received 10 portable power stations for the outages.
