The power supply situation in the Bucha community is critical. All boiler houses are running on diesel generators, and water supply facilities on generators and batteries.

Bucha Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk reported this.

In particular, boiler houses in central Bucha, on Enerhetykiv and Heroiv Maidanu streets, have been started. If a home is still without heat, the system needs a few hours to restore circulation and temperature.

I ask everyone to stay patient and to organise themselves to help neighbours and those around them. Let us remember that the cause of this situation is targeted russian strikes on our energy system.

Where to warm up and charge a phone

At the resilience points people can warm up, charge phones and other devices, get a connection and rest. Two are open around the clock: in Bucha at fire station No. 35 at 59-A Volodymyra Kovalskoho St, and in Vorzel at fire post No. 52 at 36 Yevropeiska St.

Every day from 8:00 to 22:00 there is a point at Bucha City Council, 12 Enerhetykiv St. On weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00 another 17 points are open, the council said:

  • Bucha: Social policy department (5/5-a Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Blvd), Lyceum No. 9 (1 Vyshneva St), Primary School No. 11 (13 Yablunska St), Lyceum No. 3 (46-A Vokzalna St), Lyceum No. 4 (2 Enerhetykiv St)
  • Vorzel: starosta office and administrative services centre (72 Kurortna St), Lyceum No. 10 (37 Kurortna St)
  • Blystavytsia: starosta office and administrative services centre (1-a Yaroslava Mudroho St)
  • Havrylivka: starosta office and administrative services centre (57 Sviato-Troitska St), School No. 8 (21 Sadova St)
  • Lubianka: starosta office and administrative services centre (100 Shevchenka St)
  • Babyntsi: starosta office and administrative services centre (64-a Travneva St)
  • Myrotske: starosta office and administrative services centre (1 Tsentralna St), Gymnasium No. 12 (127 Soborna St)
  • Zdvyzhivka: starosta office (102 Tsentralna St)

The nearest point can be found by geolocation in chatbots on Telegram and Viber. Anatolii Fedoruk added that the community is preparing to open more points, as the forecasts are bleak.

During the night and morning of 3 November the enemy launched a massive attack on three DTEK thermal power plants with dozens of missiles and drones. According to the company, the damage is extensive and the plants have stopped generating electricity.
