The Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights and the Ministry of Justice will hold a free online webinar on 4 November for displaced people and everyone affected by the war. It will be about state registration of property rights and will run from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
This was announced by the Borodianka settlement council.
Experts will explain:
- what to do with housing documents and whether information needs to be entered in the electronic register;
- how to check whether ownership is registered;
- how and where to apply for state registration;
- how state registrars work with the BTI and what the extraterritoriality principle means;
- how owners of damaged and destroyed housing can protect their rights.
Participation is free, but you need to register via an online form by 1 November. The connection link will be sent only to registered participants, and there will be time for questions.
As a reminder, notaries will receive BTI archive data on property in the Bucha community online.
