The case in Bilohorodka

In Bilohorodka a rabies case was recorded on Volodymyrska Street on 10 October: a stray dog died of the disease. Vets are vaccinating pets door to door free of charge: on 15 October from 15:00 on Pokrovska Street and on 16 October on Zhovtneva Street.

Owners are advised to vaccinate pets and keep children away from unfamiliar animals. After a bite or scratch, wash the wound with soap and water for 15 minutes and seek medical help immediately.

As a reminder, rabies was found in the Makariv community in September.
