The Borodianka community wants to create a Book of Memory of the defenders and civilians whose lives were taken by the full-scale war. The idea was discussed at a meeting of the settlement council.
The Borodianka Settlement Council reported this.
The meeting was chaired by the settlement head’s adviser Andrii Vysotskyi. The book is meant to preserve for ever the names, life stories and memories of the community’s dead.
The publication is to become an important part of the community’s memorial space and keep these stories for future generations. The council has not yet said when the book will appear or how memories will be collected.
The council stresses that behind every name are a human life, a family, dreams and a story that remain in the community’s memory for ever.
As a reminder, Irpin has planted another 41 named trees in memory of the fallen.
