Pupils of the Finiks school in Bucha won three medals at the Open Lion Cup in Lviv. Gold went to Kamila Khvostenko, silver to Maksym Busol and bronze to Yaroslav Zhovtan.

The national tournament brought together more than a thousand competitors from across the country. The cup was contested among younger boys, boys and juniors, and the Bucha school competed in Kyokushin karate.
This is not Yaroslav Zhovtan’s first medal this autumn. In early October he took silver at the open championship of Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district.

As a reminder, karate fighters from Irpin’s Sanchin club brought eight gold medals home from Romania.
