Sofiia from Sofiivska Borshchahivka beat Kyiv side Viktoriia 2-1 on Sunday, 18 October. It was a round 5 match in the top division of the Bucha district championship.

This was reported by the Bucha District Football Association.

It was Sofiia’s fourth win in a row. In round 1 the team lost 1-2 to Zabiria, then beat Vyshnia 4-3, Kimerka 4-1 and AKOL 1-0.

Viktoriia suffered their second defeat of the season. In round 3 the Kyiv side lost 3-6 to Zabiria.

Reigning champions Horenychi won 3-1 away at Zabiria, and Vyshnia scored six goals in the Vyshneve derby.

As a reminder, in round 2 Sofiia beat Vyshnia 4-3 even though the game started an hour late.
