The Kyiv region is second among Ukraine’s regions by number of registered participants. Team registration and the first stage of the competition run until 15 November, so schools and communities can still join.

This year the school leagues cover 13 sports and 32 competition categories. New this season is tech sport for pupils in grades 5–9. Students will compete in basketball, volleyball, futsal and cheerleading.

The region is also discussing the possibility of hosting the national finals in the Kyiv region.
