Bucha has announced enrolment for therapy groups for children and teenagers. These are not hobby clubs but sessions where a child learns to understand their own emotions, get along with peers and cope with stress.

Five groups, each with its own starting age

There are five groups, and each has its own entry age. Hibuki takes children from five. The Hedgehog School is for first-graders. Upbringing Through Fairy Tales accepts children from seven, Healing Through Fairy Tales from eight. Teenagers from ten are expected in the group Resources Within Me.

So a child is not placed into a general group on a first-come basis: enrolment is set out by age, and each format is designed for its own stage of growing up.

The sessions are held at the Andrii Kutsevalov Bucha centre for out-of-school work — the same institution that runs ordinary clubs. The city council describes these groups as a safe space where children can get to know themselves better, develop emotional intelligence and find inner resources to cope with stress.
