Lyceum No. 3 in Bucha has held an anti-bullying week. Pupils took part in interactive lessons, psychological trainings and discussion sessions about a healthy learning environment.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

Together with psychologists, pupils worked through real-life situations. They learned to recognise the first warning signs of emotional and physical pressure.

The children also learned a clear plan of action: what to do if you witness bullying and whom to ask for help.

Teachers had separate training. They refreshed their knowledge of how to respond to cases of violence and practised methods that help make a classroom psychologically safe.

Bullying is not just a children’s problem but a question of the atmosphere in the whole school. A safe school is built when every participant in the learning process can notice someone else’s pain, listen and not stand aside

If a child is being bullied, help is also available anonymously from the National Children’s Hotline on 116 111 or 0 800 500 225.

As a reminder, the Bucha community is looking for ways to feed pupils when lessons move to shelters.
