Emergency power outages were introduced in the Bucha community and the whole Bucha district on 16 October. The same restrictions apply in the Obukhiv and Fastiv districts of Kyiv region.
This was reported by DTEK. Emergency outages are applied on Ukrenergo’s instruction.
The reason is the difficult situation in the power system caused by russian shelling, Ukrenergo explained. Where emergency outages have been introduced, previously published schedules do not apply.
Overnight and in the morning, russia launched a massive drone attack on energy facilities in several regions, including Kyiv region. The schedules will return as soon as the power system stabilises.
You can find out whether your address is affected on the DTEK website or in the company’s Telegram bot.
Ukrenergo asks people to use electricity sparingly. Between 16:00 and 22:00 it is better not to switch on powerful appliances.
As a reminder, DTEK updated the 16 October outage schedule this morning, but it is not in force now.
