Syniak marked its Village Day: this year the holiday traditionally fell on the Feast of the Intercession and became another chance to bring village residents together for a warm gathering.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

During the ceremony Bucha City Council secretary Taras Shapravskyi and village head Vira Marchenko presented certificates of thanks to local volunteers, activists, the Library Spiders group and the Malvy ensemble for their tireless work and daily help to the Armed Forces.

Gratitude goes hand in hand with pain: those present honoured the memory of fallen Heroes from the village, who gave their lives for a peaceful future, with a minute of silence.

Ten babies born this year and young families received special congratulations. The Kravchenko couple, who have marked half a century together, were also honoured.

And so that the youngest would remember the day too, children were treated to a lively entertainment programme.

As a reminder, the day before, the school library of Syniak Lyceum No. 15 received new books.
