Railway stations, platforms and rolling stock are high-risk sites during missile and drone attacks. Waiting for a train on the platform during an alert is dangerous.

The Borodyanka settlement council issued the reminder.

If an alert is announced or passengers are evacuated from a train, they are advised to move at least two hundred metres away from the train and the platform immediately.

People should leave the platform and not wait there either for the train to arrive or for services to resume. Gathering in groups near stations, halts and railway buildings is discouraged.

Instead, the advice is to head straight for the nearest shelter or another safe place.

If a train is delayed for safety reasons, the council asks people to stay in shelter until the alert is fully over.

Remember: you can wait for a train, but not for a life.
