Air quality deteriorated on 1 October in Vyshhorod, Vasylkiv and Obukhiv. This time there are no exceedances in Bucha district.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

According to monitoring stations, the main pollutant is fine dust. Prolonged exposure can cause breathing discomfort for older people, those sensitive to irritants and children.

Only a day earlier, on 30 September, the list of towns with worse air also included Vyshneve in Bucha district, after an enemy attack. Today no exceedances of permissible levels of harmful substances were recorded in other settlements of the region.

Residents of the affected towns are advised to keep windows closed, avoid spending long periods outdoors and drink enough water. Anyone with an air purifier at home should switch it to maximum.

Radiation levels in the Kyiv region are normal, the administration says: gamma radiation matches natural background levels.

As a reminder, in a day enemy attacks on the Kyiv region injured six people and damaged 42 sites.
