On Saturday, 26 September, Kudrivka play two matches an hour apart — and the first of them is in Bucha. At 13:00 the team face Obolon of Kyiv in a friendly at Obolon’s training base in Bucha, and at 14:00 in Chernihiv the Chernihiv region Super Cup will be decided.

The friendly in Bucha
The international break has left Kudrivka without competitive football for almost three weeks, and the club is filling the gap with a friendly. The opponents are Obolon of Kyiv, the venue is Obolon’s training base in Bucha, kick-off at 13:00. The club is not planning a broadcast.
This is not the team’s first visit to Bucha: in the 2024/25 season Kudrivka played their home matches at the Yuvileinyi stadium in Bucha, and in the spring of 2024 their predecessor Kudrivka-Nyva from Buzova played there.

At 14:00 at the Chernihiv Arena, the region’s champions FC Pryluky meet the regional cup holders FC Kudrivka. The draw made Pryluky the nominal home side. The live stream will be on the regional football association’s YouTube channel.
Pryluky took the title in the final, 14th round, beating Druzhba-Kozaky of Nizhyn and Stara Basan 4-1 at home, with two goals each from Ihor Nesterenko and Vadym Burliai.
Two teams, one club
Two matches on the same day is not a scheduling error. Kudrivka field a separate team in the Chernihiv regional championship: on 20 September that side played the Sosnytsia derby at the Kudrivka Arena at 13:00, while the first team was facing Kolos in Rivne at exactly the same time. The club has not said which squad travels to Chernihiv for the Super Cup.
Why Kudrivka is our story
Club president Roman Solodarenko sits on the executive committee of the Bucha district football association. It was through Bucha district that the club once earned its place in the First League, and from there rose to the Premier League. We told that story in detail earlier.
In the last UPL round Kudrivka midfielder Yevhenii Smyrnyi scored twice against Kolos and made the team of the round, although his side lost 2-3.
What comes next
Kudrivka’s next competitive match is the rescheduled sixth-round UPL game against Veres of Rivne on Saturday, 3 October, at 13:00. On 11 October they travel to LNZ of Cherkasy, kick-off at 13:00.
