Free legal aid is available at the administrative service centre in Irpin. Twice a month lawyers from the Right to Protection charitable foundation advise internally displaced people and those affected by the armed aggression.

Consultations take place every first and third Thursday of the month. In October the lawyers will see people on the 1st and 15th from 10:00 to 14:00.

The lawyers advise on:

  • housing and property — registering ownership, recording and documenting damaged property;
  • compensation for destroyed or damaged housing — the eVidnovlennia programme and the International Register of Damage;
  • restoring documents — what to do and which body to approach: a notary, a state registrar or a court;
  • support for displaced people — registration, applying for and restoring social payments;
  • inheritance — handling inheritance cases under martial law.

As a reminder, Irpin is among Kyiv region’s three most digital communities, and its service centre has expanded its services.
