Emergency power cuts were applied in the Bucha community on the evening of 30 September. The usual schedules did not apply at the time.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

The emergency cuts were introduced by the national grid operator Ukrenergo. According to the company, they apply in parts of Kyiv and the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions because equipment was overloaded as a result of a russian strike.

At 18:43 DTEK announced that, on Ukrenergo’s command, stabilisation power cut schedules had been applied in the Kyiv region for 30 September. The schedule was also shared by Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Under it, two groups will be without power for the rest of the day: group 3.2 from 18:00 to 20:30 and group 5.2 from 20:30 to 24:00. All other groups should have electricity.

You can check your group by address on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids website. Ukrenergo promises to lift the restrictions as soon as the power system stabilises and asks those who have electricity to use it sparingly.

As a reminder, overnight into 30 September russia launched a massive attack on the Kyiv region, and Bucha district was also hit.
