Another 24 inverters and 61 Kstar batteries have arrived in the Bucha community. They will be installed at 22 sites, bringing autonomous power to 30 apartment blocks in total, including eight equipped earlier.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

The equipment went to the municipal utility Buchaservis. According to the council, it is the first and so far the only municipal utility in Kyiv region to join the SvitloDim programme. Once installed, total storage capacity will reach 0.5 MW.

The silent units will power water pumps and lighting in stairwells and shelters. Local hubs for charging gadgets will also be set up in the buildings.

The contractor will connect the Smartmile online monitoring system at its own expense and train the utility’s electricians. The council says this will keep residents connected to basic services even during long outages.

As a reminder, in September the borehole in the Sklozavod district got its own solar plant with storage.
