Andrii Kravchenko volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine back in 2015. From then on he carried out combat missions in the anti-terrorist operation zone.

The farewell was reported by Bucha City Council.

He returned to the ranks a second time

After a short break he rejoined the army in 2019 — and defended the country against the Russian invasion to the last. In all, he gave the army more than ten years.

His death did not come from an enemy bullet: on 2 August the defender's heart stopped after a heart attack. He was 53.

They walked the last journey together

Family, friends, fellow soldiers and all who knew and respected him gathered to see the fallen soldier off.

The city council offered condolences to his family — his son, his wife and his grandson.
