Borodianka settlement council has announced its intention to set new utility tariffs. Water may rise to 40 hryvnias per cubic metre including VAT.

This is stated in a notice from Borodianka settlement council.

The basis for the announcement is two protocols of the council's tariff commission dated 21 August 2026.

The proposed tariff is identical for households and for publicly funded institutions. The notice lists the settlements of the community it applies to.

Separately the council announced its intention to set heating tariffs for the new season, including heat from alternative sources.

Publishing the intention is a mandatory step before a decision is taken. It is at this stage that residents can submit their comments and proposals.

Supporting calculations for both tariffs were published alongside the notice.

Who this affects

The notice came from Teploenergo of Borodianka SPMK-15. The tariff is proposed not for Borodianka itself but for ten villages of the community.

These are Zahaltsi, Nova Buda, Druzhnia, Novyi Korohod, Nova Hreblia, Vablia, Kachaly, Maidanivka, Myrcha and Shybeno.

The price is the same for households and public institutions — 40 hryvnias per cubic metre including VAT, calculated for 2026–2027.

Along with water supply, the company also published its intention to change heating tariffs — for generation, transmission and supply.

As a reminder, heating in Borodianka has already risen by almost fourteen per cent.
