A new depot for the municipal company Buchaservis will be built in Vorzel. It will move into the utility buildings on the grounds of the Peremoha sanatorium, which the Kyiv Regional Council handed over to the Bucha community.

This was announced by Bucha mayor Anatolii Fedoruk.

Why the company is moving

In effect this will be the new depot of our Bucha water utility. There is enough room for machinery, there are garages, and the location lets crews reach different settlements of the community quickly.

The site is at 20a Horodetskoho Street. With it the community received a garage-workshop of almost 530 square metres, a bathhouse-boiler room, four warehouses, two workshops, a transformer substation, canopies and fencing — 24 items worth about 1.6 million hryvnias.

What the other blocks will become

The buildings at 36 Lisova Street and 11 Horodetskoho Street were assigned to the Department of Social Policy, which wants to create a care home for older people there. These are the administrative and treatment blocks, a gym and two swimming pools — seven items totalling more than two thousand square metres.

In all, the regional council transferred 31 properties with a book value of about 3.8 million hryvnias. Until then they were managed by the regional council's municipal company Drukar.

Why it took more than two years

Bucha council first asked for the property in March 2024. In 2025 regional deputies rejected the transfer, and only on 21 May 2026 did the regional council decide in the community's favour. The city council assigned the property to its companies on 16 June.

During the debate in the regional council, deputy Roman Tytykalo said the site had stood unused for fifteen years and the region had no way to manage it.
