Overnight russian forces attacked warehouse premises in the Bucha district, and a fire broke out. While rescuers were already fighting the blaze, the enemy struck again. Despite the danger, they carried on working.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of the Kyiv region.

What is known this morning

As of 08:06 the fire had been contained — it is no longer spreading. Work to deal with the aftermath continues. The service does not give the area of the fire, the number of crews involved or the locality.

This is the regional service’s first statement about the fire. On the evening of 10 September only the regional administration reported it, and at 23:29 it stressed separately that a civilian warehouse was burning and that, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

In other words, the fire first reported at 19:40 burned all night — and the repeat attack came while it was being fought.

The night across the region

In the morning the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, summed up the night: a woman was killed and private houses damaged in the Vyshhorod district, and a hangar was damaged in the Obukhiv district. On the Bucha district the summary adds nothing beyond the emergency service’s report.
