Five apartment buildings on Myru Street in Borodianka, left in ruins after shelling in 2022, have finally been rebuilt. Around 96 families — nearly 400 residents — will be able to move back into renovated homes.

This was announced by the Restoration Agency; the details are set out by Informator Bucha.

The work was carried out under an experimental comprehensive community reconstruction project: facades were insulated, utility networks and common areas modernized, and lightning protection and solar panels installed for backup power. The courtyards received new playgrounds, sports facilities, and underground waste containers, while the administrative building now houses an upgraded Ukrposhta branch.

Minister for Communities and Territories Development Mykola Kalashnyk noted that comprehensive reconstruction in Borodianka continues: the Kyiv Regional Military Administration is running 16 active projects, and the Recovery Agency another 24. By the end of 2026 the community plans to complete 28 more facilities, including residential buildings, a city park, and the Max Levin Music School. Road repairs and accessible-route work are also underway, with school-area work targeted for completion before the new academic year.
