The children’s department of the Borodianka primary health care centre reopened after restoration on 25 September. The premises in Borodianka were damaged during the fighting in February and March 2022.
This was reported by Borodianka Settlement Council.
The premises underwent major renovation and were fitted with new furniture and medical equipment. The renovated department is starting work and will see the community’s youngest residents.

The work was carried out under the International Organization for Migration’s project Restoration and Strengthening of Community Capacities (HREF). It is funded by the German government through the German development bank KfW.
Representatives of IOM and KfW, donors and the facility’s management attended the opening. Speeches were given by the centre’s director Olha Savina and Borodianka mayor Oleksandr Sakharuk, and the department was opened with a symbolic ribbon cutting.

The settlement council thanked the German government, KfW, IOM, donors and specialists for their contribution to rebuilding medical infrastructure and supporting the children of the Borodianka area.
