Frosts on the soil surface of 0–3° are expected in Kyiv region on the nights of 1, 2 and 3 October. Forecasters have declared a level I, yellow, hazard warning.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.
According to the forecasters, such weather may damage crops that have not yet been harvested.
On Thursday, 1 October, Kyiv region can expect variable cloud with no precipitation and a north-easterly wind of 7–12 m/s. At night temperatures across the region will be 1 to 6° above zero, in the daytime 14–19°. In Kyiv it will be 4–6° above zero at night and 16–18° in the daytime.
