Kudrivka midfielder Yevhenii Smyrnyi has been voted the team’s best player of September by the fans. He received 37% of the votes.

This was reported on the club’s website. Smyrnyi has already been presented with the award, Kudrivka showed on Facebook.

In September Smyrnyi played all three of the team’s league and cup matches, 159 minutes in total. He scored both his goals against Kolos Kovalivka, and that brace earned him a place in the UPL team of the round.

Five players were in the running for player of the month: Myroslav Serdiuk, Matias Rosales, Artur Dumaniuk, Oleksandr Bieliaiev and Smyrnyi. Voting ran on the club’s official Telegram channel until 1 October.

The midfielder received the award while recovering after the match against Veres on 3 October. Late in the game he was forced off after a blow to the knee, and the club wished Smyrnyi a speedy return to the pitch.

As a reminder, Smyrnyi was named in the UPL team of round seven for his brace against his former club.
