An exhibition of paintings by Yurii Patsan, an Honoured Artist of Ukraine, is running in Irpin under the title "With Ukraine in the Heart". The works can be seen until 12 September.

The culture department of the Irpin city council announced the show.

It is the artist’s story about his native land, the Ukrainian village, nature and people. The paintings show endless fields, country roads, old houses, trees and yards.

Patsan’s art is not only about a love of nature but also about memory: childhood, the home region, its light and simplicity. The Ukrainian landscape became his main source of inspiration.

The exhibition is open at 4 Shevchenka Street in Irpin: Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00, closed on Sunday and Monday.
