The Irpin community and the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment have signed a memorandum of cooperation. In Irpin the soldiers will help with the patriotic education of young people and with support for veterans.
Acting mayor and Irpin City Council secretary Anzhela Makeieva reported this on the council website.
For the regiment the document was signed by Senior Lieutenant Maksym Tiutiunnykov, a civil-military cooperation officer at headquarters, Captain Dmytro Demiants, a regimental staff officer, and a veteran with the call sign Kasper.
According to Makeieva, the community already runs similar programmes with other military units, and this work should keep growing. For children it means not dry theory but live contact with people who know the price of service.

A separate strand is support for veterans. Makeieva stressed that brothers in arms understand one another best and can be there when it matters most.
As a reminder, Irpin’s social taxi for veterans has already made almost 300 trips.
