A delegation from the United States, relatives of American volunteers killed defending Ukraine, has visited Bucha.

This was reported by Bucha City Council.

The visit was organised by the R.T. Weatherman Foundation so that the families of fallen soldiers could see the consequences of russian aggression with their own eyes and honour the memory of all victims of the war.

Near the Church of St Andrew the First-Called the guests were met by Kateryna Denysenko, head of the city council’s international relations and cooperation department. She told them about the occupation of the community, russian war crimes and the rebuilding of the city.

The relatives left memorial cards about their Heroes in Bucha, including Dane Partridge and Lance Lawrence, who gave their lives serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a reminder, at the end of August Bucha honoured residents killed by the occupiers near this church.
