The Boiarka-Vodokanal municipal company has calculated water and sewerage tariffs for 2027. For households they could more than double.

The company’s notice on the Boiarka city council website shows the figures.

Residents currently pay tariffs set back in September 2021: 32.46 hryvnias per cubic metre of water including VAT and 29.93 hryvnias for sewerage.

The calculation for 2027 gives different numbers: 69.35 hryvnias per cubic metre of water including VAT and 62.51 hryvnias for sewerage.

For other consumers, including budget-funded organisations, the tariffs were revised last year: water costs 61.87 hryvnias and sewerage 55.10 hryvnias including VAT.

The utility explains the revision by the requirement to recover all economically justified costs: companies in this sector must submit tariff calculations for the planned period every year.
